Believe the HYPE is an STEM initiative started by HYPE as in this initiative we will be teaching young students about scientific research and how to conduct it. While scientific research may seem daunting especially for young kids, our program will assist them in reading and breaking down science journals, how to conduct their own research, and just teach them general knowledge of science topics to further increase their interests in the vast field of scientific research.

What We Do:
Tutoring: We will tutor kids on scientific research as we will have classes on many topics of research such as Infectious disease, Neurology, Clinical Research, and many others. Within these classes, we will demonstrate to them how to break down and annotate science passages, write papers based on their knowledge, and teach them how to distinguish useful vs useless information.
Competitions: At the end of the school year we will be holding a scientific research competition where students will have to create a unique, formal presentation on any science topic of their choosing and must show it to the judges, which will be science teachers and professors, how their idea is relevant and creative to the current situation of the world today. We will also hold week-long camps where we will present the participants a challenging research issue and through the camp, we will provide them in-depth information and breakdown of the issue and assistance on their own research idea. At the end of the camp, the participants must present their own research idea and be able to clearly state how their idea is able to fix the issue at hand.
Fundraising: As science research deals with many diseases and underlying sicknesses we will be hosting many fundraisers that focus on raising money for those who suffer from these horrific illnesses so that these people are able to recover. 
​Nurturing: Within our STEM program we will be going to K-5 classes and doing fun, interactive science experiments so that they get a taste of the science world in a way that many kids are not able to experience. We do these labs with not just the intention for the child to remember the experience but to also learn the science behind the mechanism of the lab.
